The developer of the Framework for Leading™ methodology, Dwaine Canova, discovered the need while planning to launch his private equity company.
Executive leadership teams do not have a ‘system’ with a methodology and specially designed technology to structure and discipline the activities and thinking of executive teams. All other parts of organizations have a methodology and technology.
It was clear to Dwaine that a portfolio of 30 or more companies, each with their executive team, would require him and his team to focus on developing and guiding the executive team. Often the operations of an organization are summarized as being comprised of people, processes, and technology.
The gap Dwaine observed at the executive level was the missing clarified processes and specially designed technology. Awareness of this gap sparked the creation of the F4L methodology and the specially designed online tools.
